Meet David,
Eagle Scout & Eagle Scout Project of the Year Winner

Scouting for Food, we collected 278,000 lbs. of food for our partner agency, Loaves & Fishes. Without this effort, their pantries would have been depleted much sooner.
Scouting continues to serve Mecklenburg County and YOUR support ensures we continue to provide the best program possible to our youth.
The council hosted a new service project called BSA Operation Clean Sweep where Scouts and families cleaned along the light rail line from NODA to the Charlotte Convention Center.
199 Eagle Scout Ranks were earned in Mecklenburg County in 2020, including our first female Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout projects contribute thousands of volunteer hours as well as dollars back into our community.
We continue to operate fun and safe camping programs to get our youth into the outdoors. We operate 2 year-round camping facilities where Scouts and families have a chance to spend time in the outdoors.
